Screen Recording

Definition

Capturing video of a prototype running in real time, so its motion and timing can be seen by someone not operating it.

Why it matters

A recording is how time-based work travels. It also freezes timing decisions into something reviewable — a live demo hides pacing behind whoever is clicking.

Example

A clean, uninterrupted capture of a full sequence at real speed, without cursor hunting or false starts.

Teaching note

Recording is also an assessment tool. A recorded prototype can be reviewed at the same speed by everyone, which a live demonstration cannot.
