PDF Export Presets
- Definition
Predefined export settings — press quality, PDF/X variants, smallest file size — that control resolution, compression, color handling, and marks in a single step.
- Why it matters
The right preset depends entirely on destination. A press-ready PDF and a web-ready PDF are not interchangeable, and the difference is not visible on screen.
- Example
Using a press preset for a printer and a compressed preset for an emailed proof of the same document.
